Following the recent release of Vikunja 0.24.1, we're happy to announce the release of Vikunja 0.24.2, a patch update that brings several improvements and bug fixes. This release focuses on stability and user interface refinements.
Bug Fixes #
We've addressed several issues to ensure a smoother Vikunja experience:
- Tasks:
- Fixed an issue that prevented moving tasks between projects correctly.
- Fixed an issue which placed tasks into the wrong kanban bucket when moved between projects.
- Views: Resolved an issue where unnecessary task bucket and position entries were created when duplicating a project.
- Migration:
- Fixed a problem where tasks were not associated correctly to views and buckets.
- Fixed a problem where project backgrounds were not exported and imported correctly.
- Internationalization: Corrected the casing of the Ukrainian language in the language selector.
- Kanban Boards: Cover images now display at full width.
Performance Improvements #
We've made several under-the-hood improvements to enhance Vikunja's performance:
- Optimized the projects and label stores for more efficient data management.
- Removed unnecessary dependencies to streamline the application.
